The price point opens up that I can buy one to play, and the other to spec.
How aggressive do you get at pinball…be a shame it it fell off in all the excitement!
I would secure it to the top just in case. The music and speakers vibrate enough to make them shift slowly. There’s bolts up top of the Jaws where I put that LEGO set already that kind prevents it from vibrating off the top, but I’m pretty gentle, some games are pretty sensitive to throw out the “tilt” against ya.
Keep reading articles claiming this one is gonna go quick so if you’re a Star Trek fan, grab’em before you miss out and then have to pay secondary market prices. 1 Hour before it’s live!
Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D™![]()
And if you order on Black Friday, it come with the limited Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod™
.
On back order now.
I see shuttles listed for $85. (Dropping a bit from yesterday).
I assume you grabbed one?
Too rich for my blood.
Sold Out…
damn
I actually did grab one. I used remaining credits I had to cut the price almost in half… ![]()
Yeah and Shuttle no longer shows up as a gift either, so those are now gone! Any orders now only gets the other freebies.
Yeah, there will be a dip usually from what I’ve seen, market gets a little swampy… over time, they’ll start to go up as supplies and available sets start to go dry when those wanting them grab’em and store them (unless they build them).
Kudos to LEGO. They ship the smaller Shuttle that came with the larger Enterprise separately so it’s likely not crushed during the shipping process. Sets arrive tomorrow as well!
Holding steady at $115.
They also went from back order to just out of stock and now “notify me when it’s in stock”… I really think this one is gonna end up being a hard to find set unless they start producing more and more. First Star Trek set ever out of LEGO, I"m sure now that they’ve got a hit, more ships and such will be on the way. This one will become truly sought after as time passes.
I was contemplating picking up another set just to flip as they’re now selling with mini-figs included around $500 on average. I should have just bought two to get two shuttles as well…
Meh. Spend $400 to make $100 (after ebay fees, shipping, taxes, etc). Not my idea of low risk high profit margins.
I’ll stick to Mora, Stupid Sexy Flanders and Ghost Machine…sure it’s a little more work, but I’ll make just as much revenues with 1/4 the investment $$ wise.
Well, since I got mine for about half off already with points, adding another $100 profit and if I got with the shuttle to make it another $115 or so would have made my entire set almost completely free… ![]()
The high buy in price had me too worried to take the chance on this one.
Yeah, LEGO’s are pricey to start with. Not really in the quick flip type of investing but they can pay off when LEGO gives away the freebie sets to offset the overall costs if you only want or care about the primary set you’re buying.
Good example is the Voltron 21311 Set a few years back… it originally sold new retail for $179.99 and now NIB go for $500 average. I’m a huge Voltron fan so I bought two of these, built one of them, the other is just waiting for the right time to offload and make all my money back + profit. ![]()
