Mark Spears Covers

Yeah, heard about how bad they were in the past. Their stories have travelled across the interwebz.

How can everyone know a store is terrible but it’s still in business?

Makes you wonder. I often speculate the owner(s) must have a screaming deal on their lease or building ownership. One of the oldest comic shops in the US is in Kansas City and notorious for terrible service, yet somehow still open. I’ve visited a handful of times and was always treated okay, but I may have just been lucky.

I’m 99% sure I know the shop you’re referring to but the one I’m thinking of is in Columbia Missouri. It gets mixed reviews but they’ve always been relatively pleasant whenever I’ve gone there.

My favorite one. Guy was probably on the sh!tter in the back.

Where? Now I must check this out.

We must all make the pilgrimage to this shop…to experience it for what it is…

The fact that it’s so difficult to get in with random hours adds to the challenge and the allure…

Bucket list stuff here.

It’s in Vancouver, British Columbia close to Seattle. Don’t do it, I would be stunned if it’s open more than half the time.

You may have noticed on the reviews how many times the owner is described as “creepy”. You need to see it for yourself to be believed. He looks like a homeless ZZ Top and stares at you when you walk in and doesn’t say anything, it’s real unnerving. He creeps around the corner looking at you. Shop is tiny and dark.

It’s bad enough that the shop is tiny and small and dark. It’s claustrophobic enough but you’re in the shop with him. A very unnerving experience.

So he’s the Unknown…

Signs Says 6 customers can fit. Or maybe that’s how many he can consume at a time….

That’s going to be expensive….

Wonder if they’ll all be evenly distributed.

I think they will be, he talk about it tonight. They will also be numbered I think as well.

He talks about it in the stream, they will be evenly distributed If there are 10000 copies sold, there will be 2500 of each card.

This is where having an LCS that orders more then one shelf copy would be nice…assuming you can see the card through the bag?

If it’s blind, maybe we should make a pact to buy 4 each, then trade duplicates!
