People still buy Parrillo covers, think about the artist du jour for so many people. Momoko, Besch, Frison, they till have their fans.

Ha! Yeah, it may be time to change his screen name.
He was a huge turnoff for me on this site when I first got back into comics. Quit visiting for quite some time because of his ramblings. Was surprised he was on the mark spears chat.
I can see that. I had issues with his obsession with talking about sex and girls, etc. It’s just not the place to do that type of talk on a comic book site. Plenty of back end talk about not bringing up XXX talk in articles and on the site.

I tried talking to him about it. I didn’t mind editing his posts but he constantly was throwing in comments I had to edit out. I told him Google Adsense strikes us and takes away ad revenue from the site. He said “you are all about the money”. Now here is the funny thing. The money I make off the site pays for the site. I pay all the bills. And yes I do not want to come out of pocket for it. So things like that hurt. Adam is my friend but at some point if you want to be taken seriously you have to act serious.

Running a very popular website while doing another full time job is a lot of work… and it also costs money. Didn’t he effing end most of his articles with… “Now let’s make some money!” or something like that?

To be fair to him, he didn’t reuse a cover or the art and stick it on another issue or re-issue it at a later date, the Metal version is for the same issue as the KRS exclusive. I’m guessing they release on the same day. The only pinch for me is those that ordered the metal version simply because they believed there was no other option to be made available.
