This is actually very interesting, as we were just joking about this exact timeline between comics released and MCU in the UF4 thread a few days ago. Seems like we were actually correct!

In my experience, Marvel tends to hint at upcoming MCU appearances by way of Marvel Legends releases. I expect Blue Marvel to show up in The Marvels

Marvel might as well do their take on DC, DC has been trying to copy Marvel in the movies for years

And Marvel has been copying DC in the comics for decades.
Also, it was Donner’s Superman and Batman by Tim Burton in 1989 that started the first true super hero movie hysteria.
