Smiley’s or wink emoji’s at the end make a huge difference on joking or sarcasm, I have a hard time reading just texts and intentions at times.
But my comment still stands I think on a general level, I’m sure a lot of collectors feed off the BS drama instead of the basics that make comics great.

Saw a guy at my lcs, never saw him before, he walked in and grabbed half the stack of Nectar. He was trying to buy them early. They limited him to one and told him he can pick it up tomorrow.

Smh. I was able to buy mine today. I had an extra copy of Dorc and saw somebody needed a copy and gave mine to him. As I checked out another guy said that was nice and handed me a second copy of Dorc. Only got one copy of nectar. Two of narco. No dc.
Undercutters arrived early to eBay this week. It might actually help drive momentum if the cheap copies get out of the way early.
On the other hand, if tomorrow the undercutters undercut undercutters…

FYI Batman 7 is the best Joker story I have read in a long time. SOOOOOO good. Creepy in execution.

I feel like there’s a new Joker story every couple days! If it does something new and creepy I’m down for it though. I don’t need yet another origin story. I like it more as a mystery or going with the Alan Moore version!

Doubt they’re are readers or collectors…and just happened to think nothing of clearing an LCS shelf like it’s a Walmart.
It was a dick move, this is the second time in three weeks I have seen people in LCS’s trying to clean them out. Haven’t seen this in a long time. Comics are back!

So how did that work? They take his name, number and create a pull list for him? Wonder if he’ll be back.
He paid, they placed it in a bag, put them in the holds box, told him he could come back tomorrow and get it
But meanwhile.
I got two copies of Nectar 1 (swapped out the one with the bad spine) a back bag Nectar, and a Foil Nectar. 3 copies of D’Orc #1 2nd print, and two copies of Narco for myself. Listing them tonight.

I put it on the front of the stack. He pulled the back half I believe.

I could never in a million years walk into a shop and do that on release day. Some people.
I really think the very best system is the 1 per customer. I do believe if you have it on your pull & make an effort to go there, you should be able to grab another also.

The LCS here does a 1 per customer on very hot books (Nectar and D’orc this week) and they don’t seem to allow random people calling in to hold these books. As far as I can tell if you have subscriptions with them they will put a single in your pull box otherwise you will have to get there at opening like everyone else. I’m dreading how packed it is going to be this morning.

If I have a hot book in my pull box, I’ll grab an extra off the shelf, but that’s the only time I’ll check out multiples of a new book at a shop.
Back in the Newsstand days, though. I’d clean out a CVS or Barnes and Noble with no hesitation. The New 52 Death of the Family era was good times for that.
