Yeah. Books a million and Barnes and Nobel I would wipe out. We had a mall that had both on either ends of the mall. That Death of Captain America book was selling for $50 each on the day of release and I had a stack before the comic shops even opened.

My LCS had no copies of Nectar. While I was there at open, the phones were blowing up with people calling for copies. One guy requested they hold 5 copies for him, lol.

You have to wipe out places like that because the would stack them n racks where people would bend them over to get to see what book was behind. Spine ticks everywhere!
You weren’t clearing the shelf. you were saving/preserving future collectors items!!

Shelf clearing is so short sighted. Many shops judge how much of a book to order based on how well the prior issue sold. Clearing them out non- organically can cause the. To order more later prints or next issues than there is reader demand for…
It can contribute to a shop going into debt and bankruptcy. Maybe not one book, but repetition.
Do your LCS a favor and open an account and pull a few books monthly if you’re regularly taking multiples of hot books. Give a little back!
The one shop that holds hot books for me I do not have a subscription box with. They pull books for me. I go every Wednesday. I literally buy thousands of dollars a year from them in comics.
Yeah…I’m talking building a consistent relationship…same thing really.
I opened a pull with a new shop. Adding Nectar and white Sky. If im going to keep buying to read might as well give them the business.
But yet here I still can’t even get a new $8 bucket…

What’s the availability of DC All In Special 3rd print at everyone’s LCS?
My shop had some. Probably 20 or 25. I bought two.
I am hoping it gets hot.
I visited to two (Small) LCS’s at opening. Here’s my report:
Nectar:
One had a few As for the shelf. I grabbed an A and a foil (for $12.99).
The other had none for the shelf. held a copy for me.
Narco:
One had a few As for the shelf. I grabbed an A copy.
The other had none for the shelf. It had a location for it and a “new this week” label, but someone must have grabbed them all last night (they put them out the night before, and do not limit people).
D’Orc 1 (2nd Print)
Neither shop got the thank you variant. I asked because I was interested in purchasing.
One did not order 2nd prints (???). The other did not have any shelf copies, but put aside one in my pull.
DC All-In 1 3rd Print:
Neither had any copies. I had asked one to get one for me, but it was after FOC so they did not get allocated any.
Three people. Two had pull lists….never seen them before.
Another older gentlemen wandered around looking for all the hot books that never made it to the shelf. Clerk said they were sold out (or did not order what he was looking for) so he left.
Went to the shop by my office , the one I don’t have a subscription with. They pulled me a Narco, a Nector, a Dorc 2nd print, and a Dc All In 3rd Print. None of the books on the shelf but Nector. Shops was incredibly busy. People pawing over Nector. Bunch of non-regulars.
Someone, probably @D-Rog mentikned RWBY recently. I have this weird thing that I remember where I see comics. Went to the shop today that I knew had them and picked up 3,4,5.6 for $4.99 each. Selling for way higher. Kudos to whomever mentioned it. Got to keep the streak going.
Sold a Black Bag Nector and a Foil Nector. Paid for 80% of my purchases this week.
I got one DC All In 3rd and a Dorc 2nd, but that’s it. No shelf copies of DC All In, Nectar or Narco. The Dorc 2nd thank you sold for $100. That’s way more than I’d want to pay, but that’s fantastic that the shop got a $100 for it. That’s the point. Reward the shop for supporting them. Shop was busy.
But, I did find a What if Magik 1, and came home to find these in the mailbox. More than makes up for striking out a bit at the shop.
I really love the pink on the foil. And, he dotted the flower. Does that technically count as a remark!?!?! [sarcasm alert]
Was able to hit three stores this morning. Two of the stores had a small line waiting for the doors to open. I’ve never seen that before.
My regular shop had D’Orc #1 2nd print and Nectar #1 Cover A held for me. There were a bunch of folks I haven’t seen before looking for Nectar. They had a limit of 1 per customer. Same for Narcos #1. There were no DC All In 3rd prints on shelf or D’Orc 2nd prints. The owner though ordered heavy on Nectar and had all the variants for sale 1:10 up to 1:100. Prices were in line with Ebay.
Second store had Nectar #1 Cover A, but only had a few behind the counter. You could buy a copy, if you committed to buying the whole mini-series for $25 paid up front. Thought this was a good idea.
Third store had already sold out of Nectar, but had a few copies of D’Orc and Narcos (each was limit of 1 per customer).
Was able to scor ethe following:
Amazing Spider-Man #23 1:50 for $20
Darth Maul1:25 Berends for $25
Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #7 Cover A NM $20
Assorted Crisis Events #5,#6, #7 for $4 each

Hoping to have time to hit up a shop today even tho my budget is minuscule this week 
but thanks in advance for all the books this forum highlights maybe I’ll snag a winner
My shop had one shelf copy of Narco cover A. I bought it. Sold it already on eBay.
They had a decent number of D’Orc 1 second prints. I skipped that one.
I’m amazed at all the people that have come out of the woodwork looking for Nectar. Where do you think “the word got out”? If these really aren’t regulars and just people trying to get in on something hot to flip, where did they get their info this is hot? A site like KCC just has it in their weekly list along with a bunch of other stuff. Somewhere somebody lit the fire telling the world to go get this comic book.
