Well, some have been wearing short shorts since the 80s nonstop.
Like a broken clockā¦itās cool a limited number of moments during a millennium.
Iām not sure if Iām going Wednesday warrioring tomorrow. The chances of finding the LEGO variant at my LCS tomorrow are exactly zero. In part because they donāt order a lot of variants but also the fact that if a book blows up prior to release day like this, the store will be flooded with calls. I donāt want to play this game, showing up and see all the desired books āunavailable or none orderedā on store opening.

I might go just to witness the madness as Iām 99.9% sure they didnāt order it, or if they did they ordered 1 copy and likely had 10000 phone calls yesterday trying to claim it.
a shop by me had 1 copy of the lego variant asking $50.
Kind of a light week today for me.
Was able to secure 1 copy of Detective #880 Lego for cover price. The only store out of three that I visited that even got any of them in. He had three and held one for me.
The only other score was Freddie the Fix #1 for cover price. These are still selling well for me when I find them for $30-$35.
Absolute Wonder Woman #13 and #14 Cover A 1st prints for $6 each. These go for $15-$20.

I didnāt bother going outs. Crossing my fingers online will deliver.
I did ask my LCS last week to hold one, but said he had to order it.
Obviously that was well after FOCā¦but this was before it took offā¦not sure how that worksā¦said they were showing as still available at the timeā¦but I also know nothing after FOC is guaranteed.
My LCS didnāt order the Lego 'Tec. Womp womp.
My lcs didnāt order any either. Three shops total in my area and zero were ordered.
Shoot I forgot to look for those.
Ouchā¦bought 5 of the Spears Graveyard Shift bling bags & got the same blind bag base cover in all of them. Sheesh

It happened in my LCS. Guy opened 5 packs. All same cover. Different cards. There are only 8 covers. Regular cover and then the ratios start at 1:50 variant for the blind bag covers. Chances of getting any of the ratio covers is very limited.
Iām curious if they are still putting the print count inside the back cover? If anyone has one can they check? I have to imagine the numbers are down from the first couple blind bags.
Yeahā¦ completely my fail for not reading the fine print but damnā¦I didnāt even think that would be a thing. Itās more of a willy wonka chocolate bar deal than a blind bag.

Well, Iāll never buy another Spears book and that was a trash move. Iām sure folks grabbing them off the rack arenāt reading the fine print either.

My shops confirmed they didnāt order any Lego variants. There seemed to be no interest, and then, yeah.
I guess a year goes by and they forget how to randomize books againā¦

I bought one cover from third eye packaged with some other books. My LCS usually sets aside a spears book even though I donāt have it on my pull and I feel obligated to but it since I donāt buy much from them anymoreā¦
