Here goes: Store Variants are the best things since sliced bread. They always go up and Iā€™ve never lost a dime on any of them.

I said it would be interesting to see what happens. I was at NYCC last year. Frank Millerā€™s signature line was insane. And people get all caught up in the exclusives.

Itā€™s weird about the Absolute Batman book tho. I went to my LCS and picked one up. They had about 10 copies on the shelf.

I went to one shop this evening and scooped up 5 copies of cover A and one of cover B. They still had a decent amount of Cover A. I am going to hit up another shop tomorrow morning to see what they have and get a few more copies. I was just reading that Snyder just tweeted that even the 2nd prints have sold out for orders and now they are going to a third printing. Wonder if this book goes to like 7-8 printings. LOL!

I enjoyed the first issue and I think them going the route that Bruce Wayne is a middle class white collar guy vs. a Billionaire playboy adds a new dynamic that can give this book some long term legs if written well.

All this Absolute Batman talk got my FOMO going. Went to 2 shops, one had about 25 on the shelfā€¦the other about 50 on the shelf. I got a couple from each shop.

Went to my LCS, FOMO in full force, I snagged 20 copies of Absolute Batman and slapped down $20. ā€œLetā€™s be honest, theyā€™ll end up in the dollar bins anyway. Iā€™m just locking in my future disappointment early!ā€ Lol.
