I drove down to Virgina to looks for cars for Joe. He wants an electric car but I donāt want to pay used Tesla prices so I was looking at alternatives. Anyway, stopped by a local place and asked them if they were getting it in on Wednesday. He said he knows he has one copy. I said cool can I pay for it and have you ship it. He looked at me and said if you pay for it you can take it home. (We had chatted I was from over an hour and a half away and never go down that way)
I said okie dokie and left with it.

Iām not sure if Iām going Wednesday warrioring tomorrow. The chances of finding the LEGO variant at my LCS tomorrow are exactly zero. In part because they donāt order a lot of variants but also the fact that if a book blows up prior to release day like this, the store will be flooded with calls. I donāt want to play this game, showing up and see all the desired books āunavailable or none orderedā on store opening.
I might go just to witness the madness as Iām 99.9% sure they didnāt order it, or if they did they ordered 1 copy and likely had 10000 phone calls yesterday trying to claim it.
