TFAW put up on the website that this weeks shipment is delayed- again- so it’ll ship next week. Man, I wonder what they did to Diamond?

I just added 5 of each Black Widow #8. Didn’t TFAW used to have a limit of 3 on comics past FOC?
Yeah at this point it is literally every week FOR MONTHS, and once again, they are the only company to have this particular issue for months at a time. Makes you wonder.

Diamond messed up books Beedas had some damages n are waiting for replacements
They usually do. They probably forgot.
A good 1st app is the only thing that can save it.

The way they ship comics amazes me…but so far I’ve only had about 30 damages in about 600-700 books.
Guess we gotta put Cates on High Republic to retcon some rando from HR3 into the most important secret Jedi in the galaxy.

Yeah received my 1st and damn can they pack some books. Loving the communication so far I’ve been emailing them since last week and they respond promptly.

My LCS had issues with Diamond until they got a new shipper 2 weeks ago and now comics have been on time for the last 2 weeks. Prior to that it was like 10 of the last 14 weeks Diamond (Marvel, Indie) wouldn’t show up until late Wednesday or Thursday.
It’s not that big of a mystery. My guess is we’re the furthest account they ship to via freight. But to be fair to Diamond half the time the problem is FedEx themselves and them just deciding sometimes pallets are going to sit in some city for a few days for no reason. And unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to or with FedEx to get them to be reliable. We even pay for priority freight (or whatever it’s called) and when things don’t arrive by the guarantee date there’s a mountain of reasons that are exceptions to the guarantee.
To give an example of how wonky delivery can (and has) been, the delivery from last week (this week’s releases) was sent by Diamond on 6/1, was supposed to arrive on 6/4, and FedEx THINKS it will arrive tomorrow, but it may arrive Friday. The delivery from this week (next week’s comics) was sent 6/8, and should arrive on Friday based on the current tracking. Most likely will be Monday because it usually sits in the railyard in Portland for 24 hours or so after arrival. So sent a full week after, but will arrive about the same time because last week’s shipment had a few different towns it sat in for multiple days at a time on its journey.
Off the top of my head, I want to say there have been less than 4 weeks so far this year where we’ve gotten the shipment in on the schedule it’s supposed to be. The beginning of the year that was largely on Diamond, but the last couple of months they really have done what they can to try to get things sent out sooner and just keep running into FedEx screwing things up.
