New Variant Ratios on TFAW

You think they’ll be able to process last week’s and this week’s by Thursday? Or were you referring just to last week’s books? Do we know if this week’s books are late as well?

Alright… I can forgive them for Diamond/Fedex shipment woes, the weather a few months back that caused power outages and not being able to make it into the warehouse or office to process due to snow, ice, whatever… but ya’ll need to man up over what you all are calling a “heat wave”… As someone who’s lived in central Texas for 20+ years and North Dallas for another large portion of my life… it’s hotter than hell 80% of the time here and we manage to still get our shit done! In 2011 we had over 90 days of 100+ degrees and yes, Phoenix normally holds the record for most days over 100 degrees each year and all time record of 143 days, let me remind you their heat his more dry. You stand in the shade and it feels 20 degrees cooler most of the time… here in Central Texas, you start sweating the instant you go outside… nothing worse than 100+ degrees and 1,000,000,000% humidity…

You get yo’self some big industrial fans, open the freaking windows and get yo asses to packing up comics…! Drink cold beer while you pack… the buzz will make it feel less hot! :stuck_out_tongue:

That is soooo cute that you think you know what humidity is over there in Texas, please come on down to my neck of the woods in Florida where we have heat and humidity year round.

You do have the mildest winters but don’t you all normally average 80-90 degrees during peak summer? Come on down to Texas where it can reach 110 at times and add that thing you call humidity as well… like Florida, I can wear flip flops year round most of the time. The snow and ice we had back in February was the once in a every 4-6 decades type of occurrence.

If it hits 90 degrees in August or September here, we consider that a cold front and we put our long sleeve hoodies on to keep warm…

I have no idea when things will be processed. Fallenone asked them on Twitter earlier today and they said last weeks should be there today. He later mentioned books didn’t process today. I was just pointing out if they arrived today it will prob take them a bit to inventory everything, pull out damages, and “process” orders. So it likely wouldn’t be until Thursday. That’s just my guesstimate though. I don’t know if they’ve commented on this weeks books arrival yet.

To ship out the current pending orders.

I’ve lived in Texas for a long time, I thought Florida was hotter when I went to Universal Studios in an August awhile back.

Still, hottest I’ve felt to date has been in Bahrain. I stepped off the plane at 11 PM, and instantly felt a wave of heat hit me in the face. I will never live over there, ever. Soooooooo incredibly hot.

Death Valley was the worst heat I’ve ever felt and nobody lives there, for that very reason.

Being someone used to the cold, I went to Las Vegas my first time a few years ago in the summer. Ouch. It was so hot that I could only walk between buildings short distances. It was like 110 every day.

I walk/jog the dog every day, twice a day, 2-3 miles each time. Even now in the mornings when it’s coolest, it’s still 85 to 90 degrees around 7-8am nowadays. I now have to wait until 8pm to 9pm cause it’s way too hot to go around 6 or 7pm.

Some days when I get home, my shirt is so drenched with sweat from the humidity, wife asks if it’s raining and I’m like no, that’s just sweat from me.

In all seriousness though, please do try to keep cool if you live in the NW. I know most of these cities and states can usually go without central air conditioning most of the year so there’s no reason to have A/C in your homes. With the amount of reported deaths, it’s saddening to think of what we normally deal with every summer in the southern states, these areas aren’t equipped in handling.

Late shipments don’t cause orders to process for 2-3 weeks without shipping. I wonder what TFAW’s next excuse will be?

Tony has Poyo hooked up to a MATRIX thingy… I think he jimmied it up with a pair of 3D galsses, his Colecovision and an old copy of People magazine.

Or maybe I have @anthony in my own Matrix I created… he thinks I’m chained to his wall…

If you ordered the rainbow variant for marvels voices, they didn’t get their copies. Is diamond really that incompetent?

Yes, it’s why everyone is now bailing and Diamond is slowly going out of business…
