So people can essentially ask for books they never had in their pre-orders cause they missed them? Sounds like that could be a problem for the supply. I won’t be trying that, for the record.
There’s still ways CS should be able to manually look up if someone had added something. It just has to be done by customer. So if for example you emailed them and said “I added the Moon Knight 1:50 and now it’s gone!” they can look your previous additions up by your email and see your account records of what was added/removed and verify that you did at one point add it. There’s just no way to look up by item what was added to accounts. So they can’t look up Moon Knight 1:50 and see all the accounts that added it yesterday, but they can look at an individual account and see if it added Moon Knight 1:50.
Just checked my pre-orders and I have 1 page out of 5 available. I’ll wait till end of week to see if everything goes back to normal.
It should have been fixed by now. Might want to do a chat or call them
The search box has not been working for 2 days now on TFAW, just as a heads up.
Yeah. Anytime I search I get an error on Safari. Works on Chrome though.
Clear your browser cookies, it will fix the searching. At least, that’s what worked for me.
Did TFAW not get a shipment this week? I show nothing processed for my orders at all.
I asked today. Expect it to happen tonight or tomorrow
Awesome, thanks!
Actually. Check Again. They processed my DC and some of the marvel stuff.
I’ve only got a couple marvel books (all star wars) and one Boom…though some are variants so I can’t tell if it’s just not processed yet due to lateness or their usual dropping the ball on providing variants they say they will have, but then never ship.
They likely were shorted or had damages. I know the Trail of Shadows #1 Tedesco had a lot of damages.
Crossing my fingers that’s not the case, otherwise it will yet again be more books I’ll never see.
Not necessarily. It just may be awhile if they were incentives. They seem more likely to be replaced by diamond, in my experience. Regular covers are a crap shoot.
It fascinates me in 2021 the chuckle heads and Marvel, DC, the Distributors, etc. can’t figure out a way to package comics in boards and bags BEFORE shipping them out. Add the $.50 and package em.
It’s overall costs. It’s reading material to the distributor who makes money on quantities and not quality. Distributors soon learn quickly that it’s not just readers out there but picky collectors. They’ll have to adjust their ways in handling and shipping but not at a huge cost to them. We gotta remember, they’re selling these well under cover price. Any amount of significant changes in the whole process just eats away at their own profit margins.
The publishers don’t play a part in packing and shipping since that’s why they get a distributor to handle such things.
I have it in my pre-orders for $17.49 … added Oct. 3
Same here I have it for 17.49 but I got it before the first FOC. I think the 19.99 price is because FOC has been moved for this book a couple times.
