Not a ratio but a variant for sure, I grabbed a bunch of copies of Invinsible #1 Amazon Prime Edition for $1 each on TFAW. I am sure I can get more than what I paid for them on various outlets, even if they sit for a while

Incentives were never supposed to be discounted, just at ratio. Ones that were are just because it’s a manual process and if people get them early enough often the default rules fall to make them pre-order discounted.

I apparently remembered things wrong. I blame being exhausted today from my covid booster. SOME incentives were supposed to never be discounted, some are discounted. It’s not a one size fits all rule. Generally if something is super hot on the after market (for example a 1:25 selling for $50+) we turn off discounts so it’s at full ratio price ($25). But it’s all subjective, and there is no concrete rule one way or the other beyond their default price is ratio. (Or slightly higher if it’s like a 1:10 for a $9.99 book.)

If everyone is going to complain about the standard pre-order discount not being on them and we’ll get complaints anyway that could backfire and lead to purchasing to decide to just start raising prices on some of them like other stores do. So be careful with that Pandora’s box haha. Make sure if you voice your opinion to CS you do it respectfully and don’t make it harder on them.
