The first series was great. Early issues are $$$
Really like the story of Nocterra. Great series so far. I grabbed two of the Snyder signed 1:50s at Midtown last week during their incentives sale. Think they were around $16 each.

It was pretty good. Not as good as the comic but I enjoyed it. Joe Hill with have a long and very successful career like his father.
Was dissapointed in ‘Wraith’ though. The books were good; the TV show started off well, and then kind of tapered off, and then was cancelled after two seasons. I agree though his son is talented, his comics are good. I just hope the translation to movies is not like his dads - good stories that few turn into good movies. (Dont get me wrong there are some good S. King movies - but his books are way better !; not all his movies).

@DocCRR Agreed. I was really disappointed in the Wraith tv series. The actress/actors just didn’t work at all for me either. They dropped the ball. Such a great novel! The comic adaptations were decent. I’ve always been surprised they don’t go for a bit more.
I thought the Joe Hill Horror series comics that DC put out (especially Basketful of Heads) were very well done.
If you haven’t checked out the movie “Horns” based on Joe Hill’s work, I’d recommend it. It was a exception to the rule. Pretty good flick.

I only have the 1:10 cover of #1. Eh, guess I should start scrounging for some for cover at my lcs.
I just realized I have the following covers for #1: the jock variant, the glow in the dark, the 2nd print, the 1:10, and two copies of the 1:50 on the way. But, I don’t have a single 1A. Crap! Going to be hard to find those now.
A few people stated their LCSs have stacks of these, but absolutely none of mine do, nor have they for a while. If anyone with a stack at an LCS wants to send me one, let me know.

I found a first printing first issue recently but haven’t seen any good stuff since on the shelves.
I did see Horns. Agree with you !
Basketful of Heads was also good.
I think the problem most comic book writers have is finding the right person to translate the writers vision to the screen, rather than selliing the property and having it be adapted to the way the movie company wants. I know its hard to turn down $$$ though !
But Joe Hill is good !

I have a few but went looking for more. Not one LCS had any #1’s on the shelf.
wasnt it returnable? if it was. it came out 6 months ago so most shops would have returned for the refund
