It’s so funny to see this over and over again. Before spoilers last night, nothing in Ultimates. After wards
I feel like I should be on the payroll.
Shoot Nick an email asking for a cut of Key Collector. Or at least some credit.
He’ll never do it, but out of human decency, he could put “Source: CHU.”
Hear me out…what if he got the intel from another source? Like maybe he went to his LCS and flipped through books.
Is there a way to know if he is lurking on the site?

I can scrape the IP addresses maybe. See if one is coming from his area. But when he was starting out he hit me up for help and I consulted with him on things. I used to write for the app as well. I am sure he reads the main site at least.
You do process of elimination. Only post the spoilers in forums that only allow Level 3 members which is very few members. If KCC is still updated with the updates, either someone from CHU is feeding him the info or he’s one of the members (doubtful) which is also a likely scenario. I’m sure he’s got people feeding him info all the time from the internet or he’s got his own shop giving him the details and he’s just much slower at updating than you are @Anthony
Could also make it so it’s only Level 2 members as well to wide the audience to see results as well but would be harder to vet the members. But as it stands now, anyone can see the spoilers so it could be any number of people who then go feed KCC the info to go update as I doubt Nick is the only one making updates for the site, probably got employees or lackey’s working for him…

The gate keeping here is a bit over the top. KCC updated the app when copies of the book were in every shop in North America. Who cares if you spoiled it first and KCC didn’t give you credit? Are you guys like that guy who is like “I used to be a fan of this one band before they were famous and all the new fans are posers” I appreciate your effort in posting spoilers, but KCC may have other sources
I still like bands that have sold out.
That’s exactly what I’m saying as well with my post to be certain and certainly outlined there are plenty of other sources out there…
There have been times in the past though CHU had spoilers and coincidentally KCC made updates very shortly after CHU posted them without due credit when CHU was the first and very exclusive with the spoiler updates.

Do you do spoilers to seek credit from KCC? Or Do you do spoilers because you love the art form? Nobody really cares if you’re the dude who listened to that popular band before everyone else.
CHU gives credit where it’s due. It’s just nice to see it in return. KCC hasn’t been the only source that’s stolen from this site in the past. I think @anthony does them because he enjoys sharing the information but you’ll have to ask him, I don’t do the spoilers. @anthony spends a lot of time and effort getting them though, almost weekly it’s hours of his own time spent… so I get it, if other sources are using his information, it’s nice to get such credit.
Yeah. Thats my gripe. I do like doing it don’t get me wrong. But imagine taking time out of your day every week to get information, I skip dinner. Come home, edit photos, write the posts. Then post them. All trying to get this done after work and before it gets too late in the evening for the east coast to read. After doing all that work, someone else posts it on their site giving no credit to where it’s from. Without doing any of the work. I cannot prove 100% that is what is happening but every week after I post the spoilers, sit and wait for them to update their keys of the week.

I get it, it’s nice, but when it doesn’t happen I wouldn’t get worked up over it. It’s a road to nowhere.
In no way am I worked up.

I mean, if I broke some hot news on my blog and everyone else posted about it and didn’t give me credit for breaking the news I’d be a bit miffed. I’d say I’m worked-up, hot-and-bothered and so forth!
