Online Comic Store Report Card

Based on my experience with Westfield, books are held if you have your Shipping Preference set to HOLD and your regular advance order books have not yet arrived.

Since you are new to Westfield and their regular advance orders are two months ahead, that may explain the delay, especially if you’ve chosen the once-a-month shipping option.

For the “Shipment was filled” emails, it also depends if you ordered Back Issues or regular advance order books. Back Issue orders are “filled” but it really means that they are held to ship with the regular advance order books unless you specifically chose to have Back Issues ship separately.

If the “Shipment was filled” email lists the books with cost information and a credit card charge at the bottom, that means they are being shipped out. Westfield will only charge you when books are ready to ship, unless you order a book that explicitly says that it will be charged immediately

This is all supposedly to reduce the number of shipments to save you money.

Got my TFAW ratios (SM #55 1:50, SWHRA #1 1:10, SWHR #2 1:25) and SWHR #1 2nd prints today. Packaging was awesome! Alternating spines, wrapped in paper into a bundle. These books are beautiful. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You summed it up great!

Well I just learned that misspelling “fantom” is a dire mistake:

Seriously, anything has a porn version of it in existence, basically.

Myself and I know of at least one or two others who have issues with Fantoms shipping. I know others haven’t had issues but a few have. My book was placed bagged and boarded in an oversized mailer with no protection and a ton of room to shift around. I know I listed my issues with pics somewhere in this thread. Just a heads up as others like @davidbitterbaum and @Anthony haven’t had any issues if I recall correctly.

I’ve got my doubts… from what you were posting in the other day in the Lounge about what you see as ads… MMmmmm… Hmm… sure you misspelled that… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@ToddW I haven’t been “issue free” but mostly not their fault the issues I have had. They are located in Washington DC which is a good 30 minute drive from me, traffic free. For some reason every package I get from them goes down to South Carolina first before coming to me. Not sure why, but a 30 minute drive shouldn’t take a week and a half to deliver. Again, that is not their issue and all my books have come in fine.

It’s the crazy way some USPS routes likely work. Doesn’t seem logical unless you likely could see how they operate more than likely.

Yeah, @ToddW, I’ve been pleased with Fantom. They put it in a mailer and it’s tight so it doesn’t move around for me. Sometimes in a bag and board sometimes not, but always arriving with zero issues. Sorry you’ve had some problems!

Got a package from Anyone Comics. It was in a mailer but had extra cardboard and stuff inside to keep it safe. I made a post about how I loved the little doodle too:

They either sit in my basement or sit in TFAW’s basement. :man_shrugging:

You don’t want them to sit in @Anthony 's basement… wheeewww!

I actually do have at least two of my comics sitting in Anthony’s basement now.

No. They are in the mail.

My point is that delays on just about anything don’t really bug me. The MAFEX Mandalorian got pushed back like 3 months and I was just like “meh looks like ole’ Black Series Mando gets to stand a little longer.”

Does anyone know when TFAW generally adds the new previews catalog?
