My order from TFAW that had Eniac1, Nottingham 1 and a bunch of ratio variants is now officially lost. They are replacing what few comics they still have in stock and refunding the rest, but it’s hardly any compared to what I ordered. I know shipping mistakes happen, but this one stings.

Was this Tfaws fault it is lost or did the post office lose it?
It was an error on TFAWs end. There were two shipping labels printed apparently. I got someone else’s order and mine is in the ether.

I have one order from TFAW from last week that still says processing. That order includes the Walker variant as well as two of the Shadecraft 1 exclusives from TFAW. In the meantime, a small order was processed this week. Brendon has a thankless job but things need to start getting back to normal.

One would think if they keep getting packages delayed and late coming from Diamond, then Diamond needs to actually get their shit together and perhaps start shipping out those West Coast boxes a little earlier so they show up on time.

Just got 2x Tankers 1 and Eniac 2 in two separate packages from midtown jammed into my mailbox. Was concerned for a minute as boxes were banged up. Everything turned out mint! Midtown is killing it on preorders for me lately after years of sub par shipping issues. Never going back to TFAW and neither them nor midtown is going to get my back issue business but Midtown is now my goto for multiple copies of bad idea books! Highly recommend!

Ok, you guys know me, I’m not really one to complain, but my The Rise #1 copies came from Heavy Metal’s webstore directly today and the packaging left a lot to be desired.
So, first they didn’t even tape the thing cardboard mailer closed.
The four copies inside had no bags or boards. Three copies by the grace of god arrived pretty much unscathed. One was very, very, scathed. I guess that one will be my reader copy. Sigh.
Contact them. Most publishers sell periodicals and not collectibles. (Of course some do). Needless to say it’s worth an email.

Yeah, they do call themselves… “Heavy Metal Magazine” so they probably definitely treat these like periodicals. Just imagine if they went the real magazine route and just slapped a “TO” label right on the magazine to ship without anything around it?

Heavy Metal know they are a comic collected by comic collectors expecting comic standards.
Or did they forget all the scores of legendary comics writers and artists who have graced their pages. I guess the “funnies” are just filler around their heavy hitting investigative journalism? I must have missed all the product reviews for electronics and emergency preparedness paramilitary gear they write up.
I’m going to start calling all the comics I sell on eBay “magazines” so I can just start sending sh!t packaging.

They know and still dont care. Even comic publishers treat their stuff as just reading material… We the consumers make them collectibles.
Im calling out TFAW just like everyone else. My preorder started processing on 3/31 and still hasn’t shipped. I also placed an in stock order on 4/4. Can you guess what that orders still doing? Yup processing. While I watch a lot of the books value dwindle and wonder what the new excuse will be.
Every other place I order from including My Comic Shop, Midtown, etc processes for a day or two and ships. I do this because I love comics and I use the proceeds for more books or supplies. Sometimes it’s for Car or Home repairs. TFAW you’re messing with my livelihood and I don’t care for it. This is how you lose customers.

My order, like yours, says it is still processing since March 31st. In the meantime, another order processed a few days ago and awaiting shipment as well. Not sure why it is taking so long to ship, unless they are short staff. It just screws up with trying to keep track of the shipping costs.

My tfaw is also still processing from March 31 and i have books like Star wars high republic han variant and solid blood 17 which are still in my queue which i am still waiting for. If tfaw doesn’t have these books they should just tell me. I have one order left with tfaw after buying close to 800 books with them the past year. But finally moved on to other sellers like unknown, Westfield and dcbs.

These are the best in the online game right now for sure. I’d throw in Third Eye if their online ordering system was on par.

I have never had an order ship from unknown. The one for “in stock variants” took forever.
