I reached out to someone on the tfaw chat about my missing sikc 16 1:50 and they told me they’d reach out to the warehouse. Few days later they got back to me and said they found it and shipped it out and just got it today. Was in a box with packing peanuts and wrapped in bubble wrap. Only flaw is a little crease which I’m unsure of if it can be pressed or not
I understand some of you guys may have had poor experiences with them in the past but I just wanted to report I just received my Siktc 16 Ivan Tao variants from 7ate9 comics.The books arrived in minty fresh condition through international mail from the UK to here in the US and were bag and boarded, placed in a larger bag and taped with two boards and then properly packaged in gemini mailer. Total time about 4 weeks from book release to arrival today. Given the right items and price I would consider using them again.

I also ordered the SIKTC variant from 7 ate 9 and was happy with the process, in great condition.

I have only ordered a few times from 7ate9 but never had a problem. I try to find an alternative to them only because they are in the UK and I am in the US

Beedas has informed me(and maybe you as well) that the Star Wars High Republic #6 1:25 Momoko Variants did not arrive with their shipment this week. They are waiting for a response from Diamond to see whats up.

It use to bother me when shipping cost more than the books but then I just realized, you know, I can’t complain about shipping costs, it costs money to ship things. If I really wanted to avoid shipping costs, I’d get off my lazy ass and just goto the shop to buy in person… but then I calculate how much time it takes round trip compared to how much I can charge with my contract rate and well, I’ll eat those damn shipping costs cause staying home and working makes me so much more money!

No. I’ve got 59 comics being shipped which would normally just be one order but has now been split up into 4 orders because of their problems getting shipments and I have been charged $46.16 shipping. I’ve chatted with Spencer about combining and holding orders that were processing at the same damn time and he said they can’t do that. So I said I can’t order from you anymore because you suck.

TFAW bi-weekly order. Instead of 10 books, 3 are processing including the SIKTC 17 1:25. Now, this shouldn’t mail in the flat mailer because it’s a 1:25, but my confidence level isn’t super high right now. It’s under the 5 book threshold, so yikes city.
If you have do not bend on your account preferences they’re supposed to ship in a Gemini type mailer. I’ve never had a single order ship in a Gemini type mailer ever from TFAW and I’ve had it in my account for a very long time. I’ve also had ratio incentives ship in the flimsy mailer as well. So who knows what they’ll do. I’m letting my existing preorders fill and not ordering from TFAW unless absolutely necessary. They’ve had a lot of chances and they’ve run out of bs excuses. I understand books shipping late if they don’t get them in time, however it’s a bullshit excuse when an order processes for 2-3 weeks before shipping.
How do you add “Do not bend” to account preferences?
I believe you have to call, email or the fastest would be using the chat feature through tfaws website during business hours.

Man I know Brendon is just trying to help but am i the only one who thinks it is wack that in order to get your comics shipped properly you need to ask to put do not bend on your account, don’t order bags and boards or make sure you order enough comics per shipment to get a box or Gemini and not an envelope? Why are all orders just not shipped the damn same?!? They absolutely cannot control their shipments arriving to them from other places but THEY CAN CONTROL EVERYTHING ELSE!
One order that finally shipped was processed on 6/17. It was for 12 damn comics. It finally shipped and is estimated to be delivered on July 8th. 3 weeks to get me 12 comics. This has nothing to do with Diamond shipments being late. It has everything to do with Tfaw not being a very good place to order comics from. And on top of that nonsense they are nickel and diming me every week for shipping charges with $46 in shipping for 59 comics split into 4 orders. I am so annoyed with this place right now.
