Word up, bro
people gambling on eve being a big deal i guess
Ok so lets call Hulk 180 the Debut of Wolverine and the 181 crowd can have thier “first full”. No arguing the debut.
Cameo vs full is the chicken and egg argument. What matters is which is the more desired book
Meh. Let them throw their money away.
Would rather have a lower grade silver age book. For the PC or investing.
Of course but when people are paying that much, it’s noteworthy. I’d rather spend less for a new book and sell for x8 ratio, especially when I don’t even need to hold it. Then, use that money on an older key.
Ditto,
I just sold a McFarlane DC Multiverse BAF Atrocitus to pick up a fairly major DC hero key.
Book isnt even scarce as people keep listing copies…lol
Like I said, the high price point right out of the gate isnt justified…
Now… try to find copies of Tiger Division #1 2nd print 1:25 variant and Hidden Empire #1 2nd print 1:25 variant…
I’ll buy any book and flip it for 8x what I paid.
My comment was about those paying 8x ratio. To @monopolyjackson point, not a scarce book and the character isn’t established. There are much better books out there for $200. Especially now when the market is going through an adjustment.
Then we have the 1:25 1st print which sells for $12. Perfect example of what exclusives can do
When I see Unknown selling a possible spec, marvel pre-order for under ratio, I know it’s a death sentence. I don’t think this approach has ever failed me
It has failed you…
Fomo can still take over, even when I knew it. Therefore, it never failed
stores dump ratios all the time at dumb prices, take strange academy 1 1:50 opena. highest i paid for a raw was 35 dollars.
I’m just saying it’s a dead give-a-way when that particular store does it
normally it means they did a store exclusive, and have stack of them. they do alot of them and have alot of partner stores so they always dump
Exactly. They even said to me they’re happy to ruin books
