Retailer incentives heating up

I sincerely stand corrected. I’d never buy that on pre-order regardless

What…is…going…on…?

Silly creatures…

Frison has a dedicated fanbase. Otherwise not sure what the deal is.

1:25 and low print run probably.

Her announced CGC signing could have boosted interest

Frisson has a huge fanbase and it’s a nice cover. Low print run with Tula Lotay art. Not surprised there’s heat on this. Also I bet there’s a lot of jennifer connelly fans who are gobbling this up for their pc.

Nobody outside of the publisher knows the print run…

Except the company who runs the printers that are used… heck, for all we know, the printsman on the print floor could be making a few “extra” copies for themselves so even the publishers might not be aware of the “true” print run… muhahahahaah!

Dont know how thats “heating up”. Been selling on Ebay around that price…

…and Midtown had it for $76.50…

3X ratio seems pretty warm to me.

That’s only if you bought at ratio.

Haven’t bought a DC comic in a long time and that’s a great cover (still won’t buy one). Anyone read the story?

I don’t recall many retailers (outside of TFAW) offering it at even close to ratio once it was offered.

Did anyone pre-order a copy online somewhere other than TFAW near/under ratio?

I dont recall anyone selling it for ratio or under at FOC, besides TFAW.

So when a book is listed at a high price, and other sellers list it for that price, how can it “heat up”, when it wasnt priced low to begin with…

“heating up” requires an auction or such with gradual “sold prices” increasing …

None of them do cause they can’t sell enough 2nd prints. Double ratio is the norm for later prints upon release. Most don’t hold anyway
