Well, there are some sales above ratio.
Could be shilling, but My suspicion is FOMO, as supply is not there at the moment. I suspect shops that do get this book will have them on the wall at the eBay price day 1, then when no one bites and a few copies show up on eBay undercutting what’s there, it will cause a free-fall effect as everyone looks to dump what they have to get maximum dollar before it bottoms out back at ratio…or less.
I can’t find it now, perhaps I am no longer a “regular “ but there was a thread titled “What CHU speccin’ on?” Or some such.
oh yeah! I created that. More for back issue books people were just accumulating cheap copies before they jump…but it could apply to not yet released.

Most aren’t going to be able to hit that one. It’s higher trust level. You can start losing trust when you start visiting less fequently.

As an aside… I bought a comic from this dude. He advertised it as

LOL… I couldn’t resist.
Anyway, it arrived with some significant spine ticks so I messaged him and he said he would replace it. After a week of no activity, I asked him the status and said he couldn’t find the replacement copy, so he offered a refund. After 2 weeks of no refund, I messaged him again and he refunded me. Maybe he relies on a certain percentage of buyers not following up on this kind of stuff?
Honestly that is one of the worst Adams covers ive seen in a while.
