It’s now going on what, hour 3 of it being available and limited to 3 per customer… might be a sign that there’s gonna be a whole heck of a bunch of these available. Gonna see the prices drop like a bad habit come next week… hope you guys didn’t go bonkers ordering too many of these…
I bought a bunch but am ok with it. With every other site sold out, EBay listings brisk, demand is out there for it.
After removing 20 copies of Thor #5 from my midtown cart the day they came up I wasn’t going to make that mistake today.
Some people either don’t check other listings or see it listed as a graded price and think that’s what it goes for raw. Some just Like to showcase. Some set it and forget it.
I bought Thor 5 A & B on Midtown on the Saturday before (so 3 days after listed). That book did okay.
Midtown being the distributor for DC, couldnt they in theory keep the listing open and clean out the stock at the distributor level?
I think this one had a Batman Damned potential where it just holds sustained value because there are still so many out there who haven’t hear the “bird” (king) is the word…
I panicked a bit…was expecting the 1:25 to be $100 but saw $75 and jumped at it…but worrying it would get pulled from my cart as I checked out I forgot to add the Batman 96 1:25 as it was $40 (everywhere else $60). So had to wait A pain staking 5 minutes To submit another order…I think it was more like 10 minutes. An i see it and the legends of the dark knights Are still for sale 3 hours later.
Happy with the 1:25s though.
