I wish I could find a good, consistent source for variants. I’m less concerned with cost over just reliability. My shops just aren’t good for variants. Sure I can continue with ebay, but…
I used to get most from DCBS but they stopped doing the bigger ratio variants.
I’ll always welcome diversity. It’s nice to see different art styles. Rose’s style reminds me of Capcom vs. Marvel kind of video game art style and almost graffiti-like.
It IS graffiti art… I’ve done graffiti most of my early teens in to my 20s and that Silk cover is a straight up reference/copy/homage to graffiti art from the 80s and 90s. I know its probably called something else but I’ve seen this in NY since I was 6yrs old. I absolutely love the silk cover hopefully I can grab for a decent price.

Well the last eBay sale of Spider-Woman 9 1:25 Besch almost sold at 200$CAD and it didn’t look as good as this Silk #2 so we’ll see. Previous sales were also very high… crazy…
Retailers will be aware of this and order a lot of this book. It will be a lot less than $125 imo. This one isnt sneaking up on anyone.
Wouldn’t any comic shop allow you to just place an order for 25 copies along with the variant as a kicker?

I doubt it… seen the book mention on 3 heavy watched spec/influencer/popular/trendy sights. So far ANY book they have mentioned is available anywhere BUT Tfaw for a reasonable price. The last 10 hot ratio books were/are/is influenced by them then Keycollector hops on and it’s over from there. Seen it a few times since the year started.
Yep. There’s enough eyes on KC app and the YouTubers that we’ve truly got the modern day Wizard magazine price guide conundrum: are they reporting on what’s hot, or influencing what’s hot? Both.
Yeah, it won’t be sneaking on anyone indeed. Just saw that at ComicTraders.ca, they expect to sell 64 Besch 1:25 according to the details on the product page (16 Sold as of yesterday, another 48 units are/will be available it appears). They seem to make them available 8 at a time, raising the price as they list a new batch. Yesterday morning they were listed at 75$ CAD, now at 100$ CAD.
So safe to assume there will be about a trillion regular cover A copies of Silk #2 filling long boxes for years! 
Huge difference between this and Spiderwoman #9. Spiderwoman is naturally low printed, had no exclusives to pump up incentive numbers. This Silk book will catch no one by surprise and have 30 different store exclusives just for incentives to sell.
There are going to be like 2000 copies of this Silk #2 1:25 cover oredered when this book comes out. Inhyuk Lee Gwenom versus Carnage 1:25 has long staying power because even though there are 2000 plus of that cover because that cover is stunning. This Rose Besch silk #2 is fomo ad hype.That Inhyuk lee 1:25 cover is starting to climb up after it was flooded after the first two weeks on Ebay .I don’t see the Silk #2 maintaining lts long term value.
The Silk book is 2 months away, people on IG shouting “BUY IT FOR $80 CAUSE ITS GONNA BE A $200 BOOK DAY OF RELEASE” even though that Spider-Woman snuck up on people which is why it got hot,but everyone and their mom talking about this book so shops are gonna order a ton to qualify lol
Hell there may not even be quite 2k of the Gwenom issue, because it got hyped after FOC. I think some sites are hyping this to make a mint off of presales. This will go down not up.
The undercutters are gonna kill this book.
