Eh, if I may venture into borderline political territory, PETA is an awful organization. I agree we shouldn’t necessarily be cruel to animals for no reason but if testing life-saving drugs on rats helps us cure illnesses I’m all for it.

Got in line to buy a Spawn shirt at the image booth and Todd was doing a signing to I got in line. My boy shook his hand. And I asked him if he remember back in 2018 of a little boy that denied his candy. He started to laugh and said yes cuz he had never seen any little kid not take candy before. Lol.
Anyway. He got the book that he won signed…

Back from SDCC.
Suffice to say I do believe this is the last time for me flying cross country.
Picking up exclusives easily going from booth to booth on Preview night like it used to be in the past; is now a past memory.
Everything and I mean everything that is a known hot commodity no matter if comics, toys, whatever is a battle. A battle of the ages. Capped lines immediately throughout; every day. One can circle the capped line like musical chairs and hope you “get in” but really… is it worth it?
Savages everywhere with exclusives.
As a final cherry on top, got Con Crud. Yea - I think I’m done. Yea - I got some great stuff, but I just don’t want to go to the Battle of Normandy to get exclusives anymore.
In the past I’ve usually been able to fund most, if not all of my trip via the sales of exclusives. That will not be happening this year.

I’m the same. If I’m flying across country, it’s only for a nice vacation where I’m going some place to relax. I think my comic convention days are over and I haven’t been since 2019 right before COVID struck.

I am in LA right now, a short drive to SDCC and had no interest going. I despise huge cons that aren’t about comics anymore with long lineups and huge crowds for overpriced “exclusives”. No thanks
