Cavan Scott is promising that (1) we are only in the Prelude of High Republic right now; and (2) MArchion Ro’s plan to expand the Nihil’s reach has only just begun. The High Republic is a years long planned multimedia initiative:
“This is a story that we’ve planned for years and will be going on for years. So I think I’m most excited when people start realizing the scope of what we’re climbing and the fact that these events we’ve seen now. They’re really only the inciting incident. They’re only really what kicks off the story. They’re not what the story is.”
Scott’s The Rising Storm picks up where Charles Soule’s Light of the Jedi left off. The novel sees The Nihil continuing to expand their reach throughout the galaxy under Marchion Ro’s leadership.

I can vouch on this friendship, I think two years ago in NYCC they acted like best friends… at times, maybe even more than that… it’s was quite creepy… but maybe that was just me being jealous since @Anthony wasn’t paying as much attention to me…

Yeah. Phillip lives like 30 minutes from me. He shops at my LCS. I have known him for a few years now. Genuinely a good guy. Comments on my Facebook posts when I put up videos of my son playing baseball

I almost got the same thing from them. The free comic I got was some other Marvel variant.

If you’re sending me extra books they better be good books. I will take the time out of my day to not only send a message to the seller letting them know I’m not the dump or recycling center and I will send those extras back along with some of my Drek for good measure.

I’ve gotten some good freebies over the years…One of the better ones was a beat up ASM #101 maybe 17 or 18 years ago…sold it for over $100 when the movie news first broke.
When I sold my Mace Windu #5 where someone bid it up to like $230 or so auction, I felt for the buyer who was bid up so they got a TMNT Last Ronin #1 first print as a throw in freebie along with a few other books of value…
