I think they may be different. The Bustos variant cover for High Republic features two hooded statues, but they look different than those featured inside the cover for HRA #6
Yeah, when I first saw HR4 I thought they were the Amaxine statues based on the description from Claudia Gray’s novel. That description was a little hard for me to picture. Then seeing them clearly depicted in HRA6, I think they are not the same statues because of the robes. So, I think the info page on HRA6 is first.

I like that cover. Is it an homage to another comic cover? Looks familiar but I can’t place it.
I don’t expect Keeve Trennis’ switch to the Nihil to last. Mostly, based on upcoming solicitations for collected editions.

I’d search back issue online sellers on Google and head Waaaaaaaaay down the list. Past TFAW, past midtown, past my comic shop, past milehigh, go ten, twenty pages deep.
You’ll find copies from both series for cover price. That should ease your decision.
Kind of two different things going on with those issues. HR1 is first Keeve and Sskeer with a boatload of cameos. HRA 1/2 is first Marchion Ro. If High Republic ends up successful in the aftermarket, all of these characters will be elevated. Keeve and Marchion are both being woven into the fabric of the canon from other eras.
