All this ‘angry’ pre-foc talk reminds me of when CBSI started doing their FOC videos and some people(Brian Springman and his thugs) got super mad about it and I was like well CHU has been doing FOC highlights for like 2 years now. This doesn’t matter. Supply of this book was going to be high and with confirmed 1st appearances and a confirmed show the demand will always be there despite the supply.

At least 1,000 children were born today who will be looking for it in 12-15 years. 1,000 more will be born tomorrow. New Star Wars fans are born every day and they don’t even know it. All of us will die before we read or see the last Star Wars story.

The circle of life.

You know, with all this focus on the new Star Wars comic I was able to easily pick-up a snazzy Iron Man #5 variant by Frank Cho:

I was able to grab one copy of, “The High Republic,” to see what all the fuss is about as well.

Alert. Alert. Alert. Attention, @agentpoyo , @davidbitterbaum is talking about non-Star Wars books in the Star Wars thread! Alert. Alert. Alert.

Hey, I mentioned how I got a, “Star Wars,” comic along with that nice variant. It is still on topic, damn you!

You bring that up with @agentpoyo degenerate!

You prove nothing by arbitrarily comparing random books against each other.
You need to provide some hard numbers. Everything else is just an unjustified opinion.

And this isn’t just some book. This is a Star Wars #1, telling stories during a period in time that no other media have touched in Star Wars’ 40+ year history, released during the fever pitch height of Star Wars popularity.

Issue 1 should be the first app of Avar Kriss - great book! Love the novel too!

Ratios? Really? Thats your arguement? Ratios are never a true measurement on how well a book does. And then throwing in a store variant too? Thats like comparing penny trades to blue chip stocks.

Look, the market has spoken. FOC talk does not effect the value of a book. Print run does not either. Many people have proven this, and as others have stated, provide proof inn hard numbers or else its just conjecture

I saw people come into the shop while I was there today surprised a new Star Wars book came out. Let’s be honest. The average buyer isn’t reading forums and spec sites. Your average collector isn’t reading spec sites. Speculators are a small subset of comic buyers.

None confirmed yet. Nihilus is a one book spec, though and already expensive. From the discussion about the Nihil they seem to be simply nomadic space wanderers with a loose confederacy organized out in Wild Space outside the Republic’s control. No reference to any particular force sensitivity among their group has been made as yet.

Hans variant selling for $40 so far even cover A selling for $20. The thing is though, there doesn’t seem to be many cover B listed or selling, or atleast there is much less of them then the other 2 covers. Could be the sleeper pick since it also has the first cover of those Jedi twins on it as well.

Edit: This is comment #1000 woo!
