That is how my buying days from Midtown ended. My last few orders turned out the same. Comics should have arrived in perfect condition if they would have packed them better.
I can’t stand the fact the put all the books in a paper bag, it always ruins each comic bag since they don’t fold down the flaps.

Hard to say. For one thing High Republic #1 was at a disadvantage because even though we ordered a decent amount of it, it blew up so much more after FOC that we limited it more, so that definitely held back order numbers. Whereas Adventure had its buzz BEFORE FOC so we knew what was coming.
Pre-FOC, orders were probably about equal if you compared the 3 HR1 covers to Adventures.
When is FOC due? As far as day and time goes?
Just realized TFAW only shipped out one of 3 copies I ordered of the A cover 
We had a decent number of copies show up too damaged to sell within our own guidelines. So we’re still working to try and get replacements for what we can. I believe everyone who ordered pre-FOC should have got what they ordered, but some people who ordered post-FOC were allocated until we figure out what Marvel/Diamond can do.

Ah. My shop told me diamond cancelled all my book for FOC cuz I emailed on the 11th in AM but they said that on Tuesday they got cancelled on today I asked why and they told me diamond cancelled them so yeah. Good think I pre-ordered 3 from TFAW. 1 for me and 2 for my boys.
Westfield has dropped the price for star wars high republic adventures #1 from $1.99 back to 99 cent.

Sounds like they ordered way too many copies to try to get the incentives hah
There are repeated reports they cancel these types of orders for $0.99 books.
I think they use the $0.99 orders as an interest free loan until the variants they used the money to order sell. Then they cancel orders and sell those $0.99 books for cover price. Maybe I’m wrong, but it smells fishy all these $0.99 orders being cancelled.

I got 2 copies of star wars high republic from TFAW in those horrible mailers. For Cover A the top was miscut and for the Han Variant there was at least 10 spine tick on the cover. I hate those mailers.
Alright mail call time. First how they were packaged. Taped between cardboard in a gemini.
Everything was in an outer bag.
Looks like the reader copy, has a completely removed cover (pretty cleanly too). And I guess the logo issue was just that the printers put the comic mint when they wanted no logo. Both came with some printed coas saying xxx of 600.

Not a fan of ripping covers off of hundreds of brand new books. must have been a better way.
