The short answer is “Cleavage.”
The longer answer is that most thought it was a terrible cover for his work….at least I think it is….then during a slow week some decided it wasn’t so bad and now FOMO sets in and demand exceeds supply at the moment. I totally expect this to be a flavor of the week and fall into the $10-$15 range in a few weeks when the next flavor comes out.

It certainly does seem like on slower weeks at least one book is picked to be the “one” to get with demand…
I think that SA #13 character cover is awful… if you can make money off it, good for you though!

ship hasnt sailed, in fact i think the book prices holding steady as they have is a very good sign. the print run for the series has been holding steady as well. and thats with no incentives or store exclusives holding it up

IMO, the Power Girl atleast looks good (yes artwise 
), the Strange Academy 13 not ! But everyone has their own taste.
On the spec front, I see a few on Ebay now with a $15-$25 bid, but I suspect these prices will fall in a few weeks. There is no rarity here …
Art Adams is hit or miss with me… I prefer his full character drawings, rather than his closeups, but not this one.
Still not knocking anyones choice; buy what you like or how you like.

Art Adams could do no wrong in my eyes until I began to notice all his women have the same face. Most of his male characters do, too. I still enjoy a lot of Adams’ art, but this issue’s cover is nothing special to me.

It’s not a direct market exclusive.
So the MSRP price is a bit over inflated when the discounts roll out.

I been buying x5 Strange Academy Non-Ratio variants since the beginning and today I slipped. I only had 4 of the Character Spotlight Variant on my FOC list so that’s what I got… If anyone out there has a comic shop that will slip me 2 more, let me know the price.
