Did you mean Boo, or Boo-urns?

I think the better question is how did they even end up with a 9.0? They should have been grade screening books.

Graders notes;

Did you look up the graders notes? The bottom right corner was thumbed up and you can see wavy damage to it too.

I have a business theory I apply to almost every situation like this:

It breaks down to only 1 of 2 things…

  1. They do not know
    or
  2. They do not care

I’m pretty sure they know how to pack comics properly…

It’s all cost saving for packaging. They’ll chance having packages damaged to speed up the process of packing and getting orders out the door. They actually save money likely doing this.

As for the advertising 9.6 or better and shipping a 9.0, that’s just flat out wrong though. The damage is moot at this point during shipment, the real problem is, you sent the wrong item in the first place.

Well here’s the burning question, Anthony: did they at least respond yet?

Nope. No email or response at all.

Just like my experience back in July and it took two weeks for the guy to get back to me after my constant pestering. When their books are in good shape they are on point, but when they are not, total junk.

So they not only sent you a 9.0 when it was advertised as 9.6 or better, but also sent you an overgraded 9.0?! I’m sorry but with all sorts of color breaking flaws that should make it a few grades lower.

That is correct.

Well, TFAW didn’t grade it so we can’t blame them for the actual grade on the label.

Ridiculous.

Good ‘ol Max. Not letting me down!

I told him I have him on the phone. He wouldn’t budge. I told him I would do a charge back. He said that would get me banned from the system. Got really pissed too. Said it costs them money

Then they should of done it right the first time!

Exactly! The guy is getting mad because he’s being asked to rectify his company’s error? Anthony, that is some straight-up bullscheiße.

I told them that their mistake cost me money.

Not laughing at you @Anthony …it’s just basically the same argument I was having with the guy…and getting nowhere…
