My 12/30 email indicated processing; nothing shipped yet.
I mean release dates. Not order ship dates.
In the end, Max pushed my order for 12/22 books through. So they have been invoiced and paid. At least I have somewhat better outlook on what my budget is until my next Tfaw order processed.

I still have lots of books not shipped. I never received any “free goodies” that were mentioned. And looking at the catalogue today - the discount is significantly lower than it used to be. It was 2.79 now it’s at 3.19. That discount coupled with the unreliability has me concerned.

Holding company buys you out, suits look at financials and ask, “how can we immediately make more revenue?”
Suit says, “why are we discounting books 30%? What if we did 20%? 10% more money right off the bat! Sound good to everyone else?”

Suit, “BUT WE MAKE MORE MONEY!”

The only reason I use them is for the later printings & because you can add items up to release day. That extra 10% they just added to the marvel books with their high shipping prices means there’s barely any discount at all now. Maybe it will keep me from ordering so much stuff

My order for March has 12 books and $75 shipping charge my order for February has 20 books and a $28 shipping charge. I message customer service and they have no clue what’s going on. It was $65 shipping it turned into $75 shipping after contacting customer service I didn’t even add anything. Shenanigans

I still have books from 09/21 - 01/22, not processed yet. 
The shipping schedule and charges are still difficult to understand.
yup…currently 35 books from those same dates. It was more, but they systematically cancel the books, about 3 a week. I’m guessing part of their “Getting current” strategy…

I’d be OK even if they cut the books, so that I know I have to buy them elsewhere. Right now its neither here nor there. Hate when I dont get the books and have to pay a higher price for them ! Some books dont even have FOC dates. Also, strangely, for the FCBD books - sale date 05/07, some are already locked in and some not. At $0.01 per copy the cost is not the problem, the shipping charge will be.

Finally got an order in on Friday. 35 books that have been in limbo for the last 3 months or so. Packaging was reasonable. Only one book that had a very slight corner ding.
Still have some that should have been in the box that aren’t even processing yet.
I’ve switched completely to Villain. I use TFAW to build my list and then I create a note with the titles I want and delete my TFAW order.

Apparently TFAW without letting anyone know is now charging insurance on any order of $200 or more. So if you preorder one book and it’s priced at $200 you will pay $65 in shipping to ship one comic.

But if that $200 book is in stock and I add to cart the shipping is $6.65 and has no insurance ridiculous aholes passing the price of damages off on us. If something is not in stock and goes on your next order it could increase your orders total over $200 and triple your shipping cost.

Had a feeling the insurance was somehow included. I dont care how they want to charge - for anything, as long as they are transparent about it.
Still cant figure out how they cost shipping though, and also the fact that they split shipments ad hoc, makes it difficult to figure it out.
I have already significantly adjusted my ordering; will have to adjust some more.
I randomly got Spawn 321 1:50 Barends in my processed order this week. So random.
