Grogu is the spy.
The Armorer being a spy makes some sense, but she also has a lot of reasons not to turn to Gideon.
Her covert was routed, half destroyed, and run off Nevarro by Gideon. Also, Paz knows the Armorerās most minute comings and goings. Why would he lay his life down to Gideonās troops if the Armorer were working for Gideon? If it were the Armorer they would have a lot of explaining to do.
Axe Woves being the spy makes more sense to me at the moment. In episode 6 he literally said they were loyal to those who paid enough. The Mandalorians the Armorer shuttled back to the fleet could be spies too.
Good call.
Another good call.
Not my call. That site reported good, valid info
IG-88 is the spy
Rook Kast? Yeah, itās not a new rumorā¦in fact people been speculating since the first episode. But lately the increased focus on the character and āoddā behavior and ācoincidencesā is adding a lot of fuel to that speculation.
I think bo-katan is/was the spy. Her attitude in the first few episodes was very negative, but upon seeing the actual mythosaur she changed her tune.
'Mandalorian' Episode 8 Runtime Disproves a Tragic Finale Theory According to Redditor DiamondFireYT, the runtime for the episode is about 39 minutes before credits (and whatever post-credits scene we may seeā¦ā¦if the show were to kill off a major character like Din or Grogu, itās likely the episode would be longer to account for such a drastic and emotional moment. A normal-length episode hopefully means a normal amount of loss.
Not looking like a Grogu/Din are going to kick the beskar bucket this week. Besides, Grogu just got his new kick@$$ armor!
Yeah. Theyāve got merchandising armor!
Screen crush does a good job at laying this out.
I didnāt notice the iron heart on Gideonās chest either.
Thank you, that video was very informative.
Damn, what a great season finale. Felt like a big budget movie.
And, all those theories about what was going to happen, didnt happen.
Everything got wrapped up, with a nice little bow. Daddy Din
It was awesome!
Maybe because itās early and Iām tired, but I was a little disappointed in the finale. I kept waiting for something bigger to happen. The title of Chapter 23 was The Spies. Who exactly were the spies? I thought for sure there were spies in the Mandalorian ranks and they were going to be revealed but it never happened.
It was a fine finale and it did wrap up everything nicely. I guess I just expected something else. It was probably a problem of my own expectations.
I had fun. Watching the Armorer literally drop the hammer on dudes mid-air was awesome. Watching mouse droids team up on R5 was awesome. Axe dropping a ship on Gideonās head was amazing and Grogu with another fire bubble was also incredible.
No, nothing we predicted happened. Also, fairly little was resolved outside the main narrative of the showdown with Gideon and retaking Mandalore. Maybe thatās ok, though. Maybe itās ok that it was just a satisfying action finale.
In thinking back to the amazing job done with Thanos and the Avenger moviesā¦it was that very slow burn that ultimately made everything so perfect.
Iām guilty of wanting immediate gratification and I should trust the process.
I really enjoyed the finale.
Im curious about Mandalorian mythology and how they proceed now that the dark sabre has been destroyed.
Perhaps in Ahsoka or Mando season 4 the Mythosaur finally takes center stage? Seems like Grogu made a real attempt to communicate with it somehow?? Seems like that is the only way forward now?
Also, I never noticed it until this episode, but Gideons army has a mechanical/Terminator sound to it when he moves.
Also, is it just me or did it feel like Gideonās whole cloning program was a total let down? Like this whole time I thought he was trying to find a way to clone and "resurrect " the Emporer only to fins out that he was building his own army??? So Episode 9 is once again hung out to dry.
