Vaccine......Yes or No?

This is the part that sticks with me: “Might”.

They can’t say it “stops” it. Or am I missing something?

“COVID-19 vaccination helps protect people from getting sick or severely ill with COVID-19 and might also help protect people around them”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m pro Covid vaccines. I’m just pointing out facts.

If valid logic is stirring things up, then Im definitely your straw. :100:

Zero shits stirred here. :poop:

Valid logic, sure, but gun control isn’t what we are talking about here. Apples and oranges and this isn’t the topic for oranges

Yeah, that was off topic…yet profoundly on point somehow. :man_shrugging:

Did you experience any lingering anosmia? (Loss of smell)

I’m just gonna say one more thing. If you don’t want to get vaccinated now or never, that’s your choice and freedom but the two way freedom street says don’t be offended when we vaccinated folks deny you entry to our parties.

Basically, this ain’t Burger King because you can’t always have it your way!

Is that quote from a peer reviewed medical journal? What is its source?

It’s a quote from the linked page of the CDC website @AngryMrBungle posted.

Viruses mostly need hosts to survive and transmit, by removing more viable human Petri dishes, you will reduce the chance of spread and mutations to more pathogenic strains that may evade our current targeting measures. Subsequently, the viral population continues to shrink and eventually get eradicated in the best case scenario, depending on it’s resilience outside the host.

If you don’t know who the author of the quote is, or where they got their information from, then the quote really shouldn’t hold any water with you until you know it’s source and have reviewed it yourself.
It very well could be a poor choice of word, written by their tech guy making the webpage. :man_shrugging:

My sense of smell stayed the same.

So where’s your source stating vaccines do more than prevent symptoms and vaccinated people cannot infect others?

I’m hoping that’s true…but I have yet to see one of these do more than prevent the body from developing a severe Covid reaction. I haven’t seen where it’s 100% confirmed, is all.

And you must’ve missed my previous reference.

Everyone here needs to relax. The subject was a simple yes/no and why question. SMH…

I am a gun owner and have never shot anyone. Not a Hunter but regularly shoot sporting clays. I like my hobbies.

Vaccines, guns, I’m tempted to throw some other hot topic out here just to see what happens. I won’t though, I’m not a stinker. Usually.

Shot anyone? No but shoot at people… Yes… You make me dance when I’m not “inline” with your rules. …

Haha… True but you all know when “why” is asked its gonna open up the can of worms. Honestly it hasnt been that bad. Always attack the idea, not the person to keep the debates healthy and from getting too heated.

I’m not the one basing my decisions off of unknown authors. And I don’t claim to be an expert on the topic.

I’m not here to change your mind. I’m just giving you some ideas to help you make an informed decision. Use them at your leisure. :+1:
