I’m sure you did well. I’m hopping to track down another tomorrow. I’d like to keep as it’s a cool cover…
One thing i think about that helps me decide…if I’m selling a book like this I’m nearly 100% sure will go down in price I can just buy it back for cheaper if i really miss owning it.
Then I realize I can’t see myself doing that for this book…and then I realize I don’t really “love” the book if that’s the case…more of an infatuation…and it doesn’t belong in my collection.
I have several Walmarts around me and in the past, their cards/comics used to be up front near the registers, before the card/comic craze post-pandemic. Since then, they’ve disappeared entirely and no employee seems to know whether they even carry the stuff anymore. Where are the comics being stashed at your local Walmarts?
I wish these were in the back by the books. They are currently up front and in a checkout lane. So, it’s hard to linger in the area for very long, as you have people trying to check out right next to you. Hate that.
Found an RWBY 7a in a pack with Fear State Omega (first book), Man-Bat 1, Flash 2021 Annual. This round definitely has a mixed set of packs, where RWBY can be found.
Wanted to point out that if you are in the Midwest, Meijers stores are still receiving shipments of the “Walmart” packs (both DC & Marvel).
Still really odd as Meijers isn’t a discount store, second hand store. Major chain in 6 states and primary competition to Walmart.
Anyway, another thing is that when folks try to say these Walmart variants are limited…bah… I’ve yet to see anyone acknowledge that these books are not only in Walmart.
I grabbed another Crimson Reign #1 pack.
(They are in the toy section with collectible cards)
Just change the title to ‘Walmart Packs’, otherwise theres going to be multiple threads to look at, and search for, regarding Walmart packs. The RWBY 7 books are still of interest to me, but so is the new batch. Prefer them all in one thread, my two cents.
