Whose doing that cover? What store?
Yeah, that’s slick.
Crow lethe 3 by Mico Suayan, I think it was through big time collectibles or something
Thanks for the info. That’s a nice cover

No offense to anybody, but we gotta stop advertising these store variants. Store variants are a bane on the hobby. They are great for PC, but bad for spec and investment. I’m sure anybody who likes these are already getting the same emails about this them as everyone else, so do we really need to post them here?
I’d hate to influence any impressionable minds that may frequent the site. M2c.
The store variant I just sold for 6X what I paid disagrees with you.
I know most don’t go that way, but they are part of the hobby. Just don’t buy them if it’s not your thing.
I… kinda like that Unknown one.
The only reason I hate store variants is because they’re usually better looking that the regular covers and you can make money on the right ones. I sold a set of that Black Cape Comics Venom #31 Mars eating his son homage for $120 which made the two sets I bought completely free. So now I may send in the 2nd set to get graded.
You may disagree, as you flipped it and no longer have any ‘investment’ in it. But, I’ll bet dollars to donuts that the person who invested in it, at 6x what you paid for it, won’t be happy in 6-12-18 months, if history has taught us anything…but I digress.
(assuming it is an investment on their part, and not ridiculously overpaying [imo] for a PC book )
I’d be curious to know the release date of the book you just sold for 6x what you paid for it.
Yeah, specing on store variants is a crapshoot, so I only buy for the PC now. I will probably get that unknown comics one because I collect Yoda covers (and toys and Funko and prints and etc…big Yoda fan for a long time)
I don’t buy a lot of store variants but when I do they’re for the pc and I generally pick them up cheap. The few I’ve sold I’ve made profits on. Including a graded giant size x-men that sold for a profit. As well I had the foil teen Titans 12 that I sold for a nice profit. The Black Widow #1 Dynamic Forces cover sells for as much or more than either of the standard covers. Sometimes the covers just make you stop in your tracks and it’s all you focus on for a few. Like this one that I ran across on eBay. It’s beautiful.
I think we all know/agree store variants are a hit or miss on the secondary market but as @Joe stated my TMNT ronins selling for 4x what I paid is not bad and again most of US in this discussion buy covers for PC and not the flip unless said cover has potential.
And most importantly I thought was a cool cover with Yoda on it.
MJ and her Batman Axe
It’s pronounced Batmaxe.
It looks like she’s using that axe like a tennis racket. What a weird angle to be holding it at in the context of the rest of the picture.
It’s a fun cover because Mary Jane looks horrible and all JSC can draw is Mary Jane or characters that look like Mary Jane.
That was what I was going to post.
