Well, we all have our favorite artists. Some are eclectic and dynamic and can adapt their style. Others have a very distinct style that limits the diversity they can put on the page. That’s not necessarily bad, but if it’s not somebody’s preference they’ll be very sensitive to all that similarity.
Personally, my favorite comic artist is Francavilla. I also love Zirritt. But those two have distinct stylized art forms that don’t necessarily change outside certain parameters.
I mean, I wish he did more interiors. The only part of Death Metal I tolerated was his 4 page story in Legends. Afterlife with Archie is a god damn masterpiece.
Spider Gwen 24 did well because one of the 4 JSC covers was the only cover to have Gwenom on it and you had to buy the 4 cover set to get it. Mary Jane Carnage is on multiple covers for this first appearance so mehhh
