For me to buy a store variant, it has to be a key issue or having an amazing cover. I dont think this cover is great, is there going to be anything special about this issue? Seems strange to have a 1:50 randomly for the 23rd issue.

Thanks for sharing the link to the Adidasā€™s shoes. I was going to order them earlier but forgot about them. I just showed them to my boy and ordered them for him. Size 5 (thats the only size they had) so heā€™s going to have to wait till his foot grows lol.

Oh, Chucks are great. Thatā€™s my everyday shoe.

I once had a student who was taking my environmental chemistry class say she was super nervous because she had a bad high school experience in chemistry and when she walked into class the first day her prof (me) had earrings and Chucks and she was like, ima be okay.

The variant for #23 releases on Jordanā€™s Bday in Feb. The Jordans are synonymous with urban youths across inner cityā€™s especially NY. Its comics way of making him relatable besides just being ethnic. Comics often miss real life/current trends so the Jordan sneakers were a way to bridge that gap. This my opinion only based on being black and growing up in NY for all my life. I could be wrong :thinking: but imma cop this cover though. No spec all cool cover for me.

Iā€™m going to grab it. Growing up in England in the 90s, the Chicago Bulls, and Michael Jordan in particular, was synonymous with basketball. Strangely enough I moved to Utah where thereā€™s a major 3-point sized grudge held by these people.
