What Movies are you watching?

Did a double feature today while working. Watched Smile and Barbarian. Both awesome horror movies. Both unsettling for different reasons

Glad you saw the movie. Hope you liked it. Didn’t see this in time. I don’t come around here much anymore. This place is kind of a cesspool now.

I did like it. Thank you. And sorry you don’t come around any more. Please feel free to DM me your concerns. Obviously I want to clean things up and get back to the more fun spirit of things.

I got a copy of, “V/H/S ‘94,” on DVD the other day. Shall watch it sometime soon.

Just watched Green Room. I enjoyed it.

I watched, “Nope,” and found it really good. I have thoughts and theories about it I’ll be posting up on the ol’ blog Friday morning or afternoon.

I liked Nope.

So many good horror movies this year. I recommend Barbarian, X, and Smile.

I have yet to watch Pearl, which was the sequel for X.

I enjoyed Barbarian until the very end.
How does one jump off a silo; fall faster than someone who fell off 2 - 3 seconds earlier; and land underneath the former???

And and and - how the F do both survive that 15 story fall?

Everyone thinks theyre a damn superhero these days and can survive anything and everything. The nonsense has to stop.

I liked Barbarian. But yeah, the ending was a little crazy. Now I understand at a higher altitude like from a plane but a low thing like the water tower.

Barbarian was great til the end. I don’t usually scream at the people in the movies but I found myself yelling to turn the ■■■■ around and hop in your car to get the ■■■■ out of there.

2 Shows I am watching:
Warrior Nun season 2 I liked it for what it was… Nuns kicking ass… never read comics so no idea if script follows the comics.

Another Amazon show that I am enjoying is Peripheral. Great SciFi story.

I watched Inside Man on Netflix recently and loved it and hated it at the same time. I seriously stopped watching it when the Vicar started making all the wrong decisions. However I gave it another shot and really enjoyed it.

Not a movie but I did binge watch during Thanksgiving the Netflix show Wednesday.

Ms Ortega played that role spot on. Very dark humor she captured the character perfectly.

Can’t wait for more seasons.

I watched Wednesday today, finished the series in one sitting Good show.

I’m glad you mentioned that with regards to Inside Man. The wife and I felt the same way so I guess we’ll finish it up given what you said. We were frustrated with that guy (Vicar)and stopped after episode 2.

Watched The Banshees of Inisherin.

This is the kind of movie that looks like it has a simple story and premise on the surface but as you go deep its narrative, it becomes complex which gives the audience a lot to unpack, think and relate to.

Gorgeously shot. Compelling performances from the actors. It was really funny at first before everything becomes dark and tragic. I might watch it again to catch the subtle things i might have missed.
