Picked up Paramount plus to watch football games a few months back. Binged on Picard and Strange New Worlds, now watching old Twilight Zone episodes, starting with season 1.
I never watched these before…maybe only an episode here or there. It’s fun to watch old classics.
Filling the gap while waiting for What If and Echo.
@D-Rog
Your post made me smile/happy simply because it would be sooo cool to experience watching those Twilight Zone episodes for the first time.
Some incredible stories. While not all are perfect, there are more gems than not.
There is actually a great holiday episode in season 2 called “Night of the Meek”. Our family has a tradition of watching it every year & my boys have now carried it on with their families. Hight recommend it.
I’d love to hear some of your favorite episodes as you move through them.
Also fun to see many famous actors/actresses in early roles back then.
Watched “Thanksgiving” over the weekend with the wife as we like silly/campy/slasher movies.
Got what we expected and was a nice night out with my wife so I can’t complain. Had some pretty inventive “elimination” scenes. If you are simply thinking of seeing it because you want to see a “good movie”…don’t!
We were also the only ones in the theatre so that was cool too.
I watched Thanksgiving last night and completely agree. Not a very deep narrative, but there are a lot of great kills that I haven’t seen before! Definitely worth a watch if a splatter film is your type of thing
Apple TV has been putting out very good stuff. Monarch been enjoying it. If you like SciFi The Foundation was good. Silo based off the comic Wool was good. See was a good watch.
You will find some good stuff to watch. Let us know what you enjoyed.
If you are looking to watch a tried and true classic, I really, really enjoy the 2009 Disney adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” that features Jim Carrey as Scrooge. (I believe it would be on Disney +) as it was last year.
It’s just really well done and the animation/music/visuals are really top notch. I know it isn’t new but it could easily be passed by just because there are soooooo many versions of this out there.
Just in case someone out there hasn’t seen this version and enjoys that story to begin with.
Watched the first 30 minutes of rebel moon and turned if off. If anyone has watched the whole thing and feels that it gets better, let me know. I’ll give it another shot.
