My shop didnt get any. Theh know im a spider-man fan so all books are put aside. Ill wait till a free or trade option becomes available
Fighting over some FCBD comics that’s like fighting over toilet paper. FCBD isn’t of any importance since they added ratios and more gimmicks.
Who’s fighting? I find it ironic every time a book comes out that “heats up” people love crapping on it, unless they own it of course.
FCBD was created to help stores get a line out the door and make their rent in one day a few days a year after the most unprofitable months. It bring in sales and create new collectors. Now it does neither.
now it cost 25 -35 cents per book with 30 to 50 titles to get
Wasn’t disputing that or anything close to that… I pre-order my FCBD books from my local LCS, I pay whatever they ask for them, I’m happy, they’re happy.
This isn’t cbsi or whatnot, we dont hype up books here for no reason (or for the reason we own a bunch). Which is probably what you think you are seeing, we look for actual value behind a new hot book for the future and if we dont see it we voice our opinions freely here.
I mean, I have minimal shame. I’ll hype up a book for no reason if I happen to own it. Anybody else hear about how hot those early Ace the Bathound appearances are getting? My saying that has nothing to do with the fact I got one at a comic show today…maybe.
Trust me, I would be hying up Boof and the Bruise Crew #1 if I was hyping books I have copies of, every collection I bought back in the day had a couple copies of this stinker.
Loved Boof and the Bruise Crew!
I got a copy of Knight Terrors FCBD foil cover, it was not free but it was very cheap…was it worth it?
Can someone please hype Warriors of Plasm #1.
My vote goes to that for #1 book that is most indicative of a lot that has a poor chance of finding value.
Get ready because I am about to send you a bunch, lol.

Book and the Bruise Crew - When we talk rare books, this is it. No copies graded, none. First to market stands to make a killing on this book. I would send in a 9.8 copy. Ding one a little and send in a 9.6. And see going down the line. Release my lowest grade copy first to drive up heat, first to market, and then wow them when I drop the 9.8 on eBay causing a feeding frenzy, one and only 9.8 copy. Bam, sick, dope, MONEY!
-
Warriors of the Plasm #1 - A book no one born after 1992 has heard of, but this has a super low CGC census population, once word gets out there are only 26 9.8 copies and only 57 total graded copies, this is sure to skyrocket. Currently 0 copies on eBay, these don’t show up as die hard collectors keep a tight grasp on this book. (CGC facts are true by the way)
This list is completely a joke, please no one take it serious, but if anyone wants to add to it please feel free, all in fun.
God, I remember seeing that book in packs at Revco/CVS & Dollar Store back in the 90’s…
Should have picked them all up because they are gonna be money baby, money. Lol
On a side note, I did like some of the books that came out from Defiant back in the day. Still have a couple.
I used to see Thanos books in packs from The Dollar Tree. That and a ton of CrossGen books, turns out that stupid Harry Potter appearance and the Marvel movies made some of those pack worth money
Hows that census looking for any Triumphant comics?
Chromium Man for the win. Loved that book. I think that was Adam Pollina’s first work. I dunno. Let me check for census numbers.

Chromium Man #1 - This one has all the hype. Big time players get ready to make a move. Not only is this book Adam Pollina’s first work, he would later gain fame for his Apocalypse Mini Series from Marvel that blew up with that X-Men movie, but this has more going on for it. Each one is individually serial numbered making each one a 1 of 1. How dope is that? No matter what grade yours comes back it will be the only one with that individual serial number. Mega collectible here. Not only all those reasons but there is not one copy on the census making this not only a win-win but a win-win-win-win.
