Is Clownhunter Red X?

In the cartoon his identity was never revealed. In that Twen titans go 23 its just a bunch of red x robots

Is that the only time that character appeared in the comics before Future State? Or was he is a bunch of those TTG books? Sorry just trying to educate myself about the character.

Pretty much only that Teen Titans Go 23 issue. Before future state it was his sole comic appearance

Its hard for me to consider TTG 23 his first appearance if it was just robots and not the real character.

A Pink X (sounds like a porn site) does appear in TTG41.

Not all the Red X were caught some got away so it’s an assumption they were all robots.

Also you know we already have an example of robot first appearance Ironman #55 accepted as a characters first appearance.

Teen Titans go 23 had several Red X.

One was revealed and was a fake robot. Not the actual Red X (whose identity is unknown).

Were the others also robots? Was one the real one? It is unknown so you can’t call it a first app if it’s unknown if they were there or not. The only one we know for sure was a robot.

That is why people can logically say Future State Teen Titans 1 is the actual first app.

Take it for what you wish. I’m not advocating either book. But that is the nature of the discussion.

That being said FS TT 1 will never catch TTG 23 in value.

The same as you thinking one is the real one is an assumption

Hey I dont have an attachment to either book. BUT I know TTGo is being discounted by the FOMO makers as a robot and NOT the character in these future state books. I’m just saying give it time and I’m guessing the influencers will change the market… like they’ve done a good job doing it so far with other books. Again I can care less not tryna sway opinions just pointing out the market. On FB and elsewhere TTGO is getting more n more hate/disagreements as being the first DC comic appearance as opposed to an animated show comic. That’s all.

I just think it’s funny how it says “don’t miss this first appearance!” Like it hasn’t happened yet…this trade is a reprint…that’s already been reprinted.

Apparently, Red X is revealed in this week’s Teen Titans Academy #12 and it’s Brick Pettirosso, who first appeared in Teen Titans Academy #1.

Also, Brick appears to be Dick Grayson’s son (per this week’s issue)

Well I guess it bodes well for Future State Teen Titans #1 if Red X is a Grayson. It’s unfortunate how weak DC spec is these days…

So In other words, first appearance remains TTGo13 and TT Future State 1. And the civilian identity has essential no spec value.

Spoiler alert.

Yeah, good point.

That would make no sense as Red X fights Dick as a Teenager and first appears older/bigger or at least the same age as the rest of the Teen Titans.
