Yeah, be he hasn’t appeared in a movie or show yet and marvel has ingrained him in the comic…sooo…sort of.
It’s iffy. He wasn’t Quinlan Vos when the TPM was released. It was basically later down the line when they were like “yeah, sure…that’s him. We meant to do that.”
We went through a variation of this a while ago lol
But, Ayala Secura and Darth Bane are a couple who appeared in legends comics first before canon screen. Darth Bane was a weird vision thing Yoda had but still canonized him.
Do you mean Thrawn and live action? He was the main antagonist on Rebels in the final seasons if we count animation, which we should since it’s canon

Yeah that’s my thoughts too. His character was created in the comics. That dude was just an extra when they made the movie.
